This past Sunday, May 19th, classic and vintage motorcycles adorned the streets, piloted by dapper gentlemen raising awareness and funds for men's health initiatives. As a proud partner of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR), Quad Lock was thrilled to be a part of this incredible event. RIders had the opportunity to join the Quad Lock team and have the chance to receive a custom DGR x Quad Lock case and be in the running to win the Ultimate Quad Lock pack.
Since 2012, the DGR has created a global movement for men's health. This event combines a love for vintage motorcycles with a mission to raise awareness and critical funds for prostate cancer research and men's mental health programs.
The atmosphere of the DGR this year was truly special. A sea of polished chrome and gleaming paintwork, the day was filled with 111,776 riders from all over the world, impeccably attired all together supporting a good cause. The event effectively combined elements of style and purpose, highlighting the power of community and a shared passion for vintage motorcycles.
On the day, Quad Lock played a role in ensuring a smooth and safe ride for many of the DGR participants. Lots of bikes sported our motorcycle mounts, keeping phones securely locked onto handlebars to navigate the routes with ease using the DGR app. Our own Quad Lock participant, Tim, a first-time DGR rider, shared, "It was fantastic seeing everyone come together for such a worthy cause. The camaraderie was awesome, and I loved spotting all the Quad Lock mounts! Plus, getting an exclusive pre-release ride on the new Royal Enfield 650 was an absolute privilege."
